An Invitation to Tea 🌸

Hello,

Maybe you've noticed my emails have become a little less frequent this year. That wasn't by accident.

Over the past several months, I've intentionally stepped back from spending so much time online and made more room for real life. Between social media, endless notifications, and the pressure to always be creating something new, I found myself craving something different—more slow afternoons, meaningful conversations, and beautiful moments shared with people I love.

Last month, I gathered a small group of close friends and family for an afternoon tea party, and it reminded me of something I'd almost forgotten.

Everyone brought beautiful bite-sized treats to share. We poured tea, admired blooming flowers, wore pretty dresses, laughed together, and lingered around the table much longer than anyone planned. It was simple, unhurried, and absolutely wonderful.

It also rekindled something in me—a love of baking not just for photographs or recipes, but for bringing people together.

Sometimes we forget that we don't need a birthday or a holiday to gather. We can set the table, pull out the teapot that's been tucked away in the cupboard (or find one at your favorite antique store), bake a batch of scones or biscuits, and invite people over simply because it's a Tuesday and connection is worth celebrating.

And if that sounds lovely but feels like more work than you have time for...

I'd love to invite you to mine.

This July, I'm hosting my very first ticketed event, Garden Blossom Tea Party—an afternoon filled with premium teas, locally baked sweet and savory treats, fresh seasonal flowers, and meaningful conversation in a beautiful garden setting.

I'd be honored to have you join us.
